Rocket Ship Bird Feeder

Here is a bird feeder I designed for my mom for motherday. Now its well past that and I have the design worked out for smaller birds... Yes bigger birds get ballzy and attemt tp swipe food...its inevitable. This was designed for an Argo Tea Bottle, however you can adapt the top by scaling it up and in the future I hope to put a few more top sizes for this design for other bottles & jars.

The main base can be used with a mason jar as well and hot-glue paracord to the bottom of a jar to hang it or how ever you choose.

I use a basic wild bird blend that hasn't clogged this up yet.

Also the weight of the tea bottle and it being round it is pretty stable on a super windy day, with out much bird seed loss. Food with chunks of dried fruit tends to clog. I will be makeing a bigger desight later.

-also after attaching lid or cap to the bottom or base, make sure to add weeping holes on the side so it will prevent water from pooling up in cap and making algae and such.

I have succes with my standard settings .1-.15 layer height if your going to use the nut to secure it otherwise, .2 or .3 work heat of the thread area and flatten it over cap after putting the cap onto the base.

-after printin you can breal small cylender off of bottom, its there for support. I will add a version with out that when I have some more free time.

-Cap top 10-30% infill was made for an Argo Tea bottle. I will add something in the near future for diffrent versions of the top.

-Nut .1mm layer height 80-100% infill for stregth and quality.

-Socket for nut is 1" deepwell with I might add a tool later.
