3D model description

It's definitely a beautiful piece. However, the curve near the bottom often comes not smooth, which is the driven force for the remix.

Here, I round all the edges in the redesign that will be safe for my 2 years old son. Most importantly, I design it in a way that the holder can print on the side, so that there is no more overhang issue at all and the beautiful curvature in the design can be achieved nicely in the print.

PhoneHolderV2_PrintableOntheside.stl
Use this for printing and print as it is.

PhoneHolderV2_forModification.stl
This is for the purpose of modification. Just in case you want to add a logo on the back of the stand. The angle of two plates are 40Β°

Gcode is often shared here. The part is located in the center, Prusament PLA, Prusa MK3, 20% infill, no rafts, no supports.

Update 06/11/2019: Sorry that 3D view is showing. I change ASCII and Binary .stl back and forth. It is not working. Anyone can help? I designed in Fusion 360, then change orientation in Prusa slicer, export from slicer. I even try to TinkerCAD. No success.

Update 06/11/2019:
PhoneHolder Hearthstone.stl hearthstone logo on the back
PhoneHolder Toronto Raptors NBA.stl Raptors logo on the back

Let me know if you want more phone facing angles.

One Survey question: where do you normally put your logo or graphic design? Bottom or Back?

3D printing settings

A seamless phone/ipad stand. It takes 1 h 40 min to print. No overhang, NO sharp edges, No support, YES YES YES.
