3D model description

You are looking at a model of the Scarab SRV from the game Elite Dangerous. This model has been re-mixed from the in game asset and has been broken into 86 easily printable parts so that you can print and assemble a high detail relica in custom colours.

The model kit contains 86 parts, plus 2 more for the optional Elite Dangerous themed stand. Most of the model can actually be push fit, and the tyres can even be fitted to rotate, just in case you want to push it along (brum brum). Some parts have been re-modeled from scratch, and the turret is my original design, based on the in game turret, as the game asset was not saved.

Included in the files you will find several versions of a number of parts. Tight fitting parts with zero tolerance, and another version, marked 'tolerance', where I have made the joint looser for easy assembly.

The stand can also be used for your other Elite Dangerous models. I use it by having a version with an end that sticks into the model. I have provided the stand in two parts, so you can design and fit your own 'ship docking attachments'

This model is a modified version of Frontier Developments original in game asset for the game 'Elite Dangerous' which I have modified for your personal use, free of charge under Frontier's 'Licence To Thrill'
