Swivel Cloth Holders

Handy Cloth Holders provide a simple solution for holding (1) a kitchen cloth at your sink and (2) holding a face cloth in the shower. This overcomes issues like:

Having damp cloths sitting on your kitchen bench (because there's nowhere to hang it) or constantly having to put it away / take it out from the cupboard under your kitchen sink... where it is still damp, or...

As a secure / stable alternative to using one of the many suction cup alternatives that often fall off and leave your face cloth in a heap on the floor of your shower.

Swivel Cloth holders are very simple prints and can be readily scaled to suit most applications. Please read all of the information provided and also refer to the images before print these as uniform scaling is likely to be needed. Details of the two variations are as follows...

(1) Kitchen Cloth Holder - this holder is made to fit kitchen faucets / mixer units as shown in the images. There is a huge variation of products available locally so use your discretion to determine suitability. In some cases the head may need to be unscrewed to slip the 3D printed parts on. The holder requires two parts... a sleeve and the holder itself. At standard scale with the parts pushed together they fit a 27mm outside diameter pipe snugly. The sleeve is required as a spacer and needs to be fitted first. It has a small cut across it to make it flexible as it is installed onto the faucet so it can move around the curve in the pipe. This lets the holders inside diameter be larger so it can also move around the curve in the faucet pipe. The holder pushes onto the sleeve and they then function as one part. Before printing measure the diameter of your faucet pipe to determine what uniform scaling of the two parts is required for your application. For example... if your pipe is 26mm OD and this design is made to fit a 27mm OD pipe, divide 26mm into 27mm and the result will be the uniform scaling value... in this case it would be 96.3% of the original size. Installation takes about 10 seconds if that... very quick and easy!

(2) Shower Cloth Holder - this holder is designed to be installed onto the pipe bracket that holds your shower mixer (head). The design is made to fit onto a 22mm pipe snugly so measure your pipe and uniformly scale accordingly. Refer above to the kitchen Cloth Holder for more explanation on scaling. The bracket / pipe should be quick and easy to remove, usually just one plastic cap plus a single screw inside, so the Shower Cloth Holder can be installed in a matter of minutes.

Both holders provide a practical solution that will appeal to some people but not all. However, for those members that see the value in the concept, they are sure to be appreciated every time you use them.
