Wavy stand

The wavy stand is a passive speaker amplifier phone stand for your relaxing or revitalizing moments.

Even spending or having a feeling of nature for at least five minutes lead to a significant mood boost for your mindset and body. Today's busy life does not allow us to have any break and, where I'm coming from, I think it is really important. Sometimes I feel homesick for the seaside, mountains and forest from the south of France. I'm grateful to have the chance to grow up with all these nature and water around me. I had the opportunity to see the sea in all its states from stormy, wavy to calm and that's quite a feeling and special moments every time. It's a sensation that I was really glad to experience and I'm thrilled to share a piece of it today through this design.

Inspired by the physical and invisible flows all around us I decided to grasp a part of it and express it in a design. Merging the curves of sound frequencies, the nature and waves from the sea I tried to express this convergence through this unique piece.

The aesthetic is a mix of topography, curves and layers that, all together, make a wave that swept the phone standing on its way. That was truly essential for me to transcribe this movement of the phone being drifting away.

But wait, it is not simply a nice object where your phone is standing on. It is much more and it has the natural ability to amplify the sound getting out of your phone. You could experience for a second an amplified break in your day to get the feeling of the ocean and calmness that comes with it... However, it’s all personal. Play whatever music that you enjoy, the one that is gonna give you the smile for your day. What about "Yellow Submarine" to start with?

One last thing, each wave can be printed separately. Be crazy, be blue shades, be pastel, be colourful, be rainbow... Give freewheel to your imagination!

I'm providing 2 models of the Wavy stand:

The classic model is made of 3 sections plus snap-fits. Left and right side plus the middle part that amplifies sound and holds the phone. The middle part is 7.80mm thick and you can increase it to adjust it to your phone. Finally, remains those snap-fits to combine the sections. Anyway, you can also skip them and glue the elements all together. That's up to you!

The power user model is made of 9 sections plus integrated snap-fits. Four left waves and four right waves plus the middle one that amplifies sound and holds the phone. The middle part is 7.80mm thick and you can increase it to adjust it to your phone. Finally, remains those snap-fits to combine the sections. Anyway, you can also skip them and glue the elements all together. That's up to you!
