3D model description

Yes take it and do with it what you well, just send pictures!!!! Feel free to look me up on my LeftBrainCo Etsy and Instagram!

I did my best to make this model as accurate as possible.

Use wooden dowels for the antennas. If printed at full scale 1:1 at a height of 58CM or 22.8in the antenna would be 2.4m and 2.9m long (there are two of each length). The one I ended up printing was 1:2 scale so I could hang it in my living room without the 7+ft antenna's the full scale would have.

PARTS:

T-Busing Print as many as you feel you need. They slide into the holes on the inner structure to lock the two halves together.

Lock Tube: 2x Goes in the center opposite of of each other with the top of the T shape furthest away from each other. You can then drive a nut and bolt though both (X head facing the exhaust port). Use a long screwdriver to tighten the bolt to hold the two halves together.

The door with the hook will likely break Just use the one without the hook on the back.

E6000 Glue works well to hold it all together. No need to glue the two halves together with as the bolt will hold steady.

There is a square hole in the "belt" of the satellite that has a hole for a cross pin, you can put a hook of wire to the hole and press a coder pin though to hold the wire for hanging.

Biggest issue right now with the design is the spring arms for the antenna's, they need a metal or wood sub strait to prevent them from snapping under the pressure of the antenna's fulcrum.
