3D model description

G1 Defensor's "Fireball Cannon" weapons, reimagined for Combiner Wars/Unite Warriors Defensor.

The weapons that came with CW Hot Spot aren't really substantial enough for Defensor, and the none of the limited upgrade options on the market worked for me, so I decided to make my own.

The design is primarily inspired by the G1 weapons (referred to as "Fireball Cannons" in the tech specs), but I was also inspired by how C+ Customs updated the G1 design for their upgrade kit. I added a trigger with trigger guard, since I hadn't seen that on any other combiner weapons I'd seen and it seemed like a fun thing to try.

These are also compatible with 5mm Blast Effect parts from the War For Cybertron trilogy toy line! Pictured with parts from Siege Jetfire.

Download includes versions compatible with all various combiner hands styles:
- Perfect Effect (left and right)
- Transform DreamWave (left and right)
- Stock CW/UW/PotP
- Universal - no trigger, will work with any hand (including Hot Spot's)

Installation Notes:
- The PE version was designed primarily for the round-finger hands, but will work with the square-finger hands too. It's a little trickier to get them on since everything is tighter fit, but they will work.
- If using the CW/UW version, I recommend using the gatling gun hand and/or the missile-tips hand. The parts on the other hands will interfere with the big vent peice in front of the handle.

Photos show part printed at 0.1mm layer height on my Prusa i3 MK3S with Hatchbox Black PLA.

3D printing settings

Designed to print pointing up. Requires supports, I set my threshold angle at 20%. Supports are generated for the slot on the barrel, but they aren't necessary so I suppress them.
