3D model description

I built this motorized resuscitator/Ventilator over the past 10 days. It uses a very readily available 1500ml emergency (Bagger) manual resuscitator (which can have oxygen connected to it) and is driven by a very common and inexpensive automotive wiper motor. All the main parts were designed in SolidWorks and printed on my Prusa 3D printer out of Pet G plastic. You can manually adjust the frequency (breaths per min) and the volume of air per breath. At a rate of 13 BrPM the fully charged 5ah battery should last about 10 Hr. The purpose for me building this was to help assist someone to breathe if they contracted the COVID-19 virus.

The ventilator is still in development and is advised as a "last resort device"

Rod ends: 10/32 3 x female 3 x Male. eBay about $1.00 each
Bearings: 8 x R4 2RS Rubber Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearings - 1/4" x 5/8" x 0.196" eBay about $1.00 each.
3/16, 1/4 and 3/8 all-thread and other nuts and bolts from Home Depot or Lowes.
Β½ inch copper water pipe with 2 T joints
1 x Adjustment Knob
You will need to machine a crank wheel for the wiper motor out of aluminum as I did, or try and design and print your own. I also used some aluminum spacers as they were on hand but plastic would also work just fine.
