3D model description

Upgrade your existing take apart truck!

Change your fire truck or tow truck into:
* 8x8 (fire/tow) truck
* and (optional) install the winch (which works well with the tow truck)
* or wrap around a fire hose

What you get here:
* Long front fenders (for 2 wheels on one side)
* Long front chassis (for 2 wheels & license plate)
* Alternative/optional central chassis, with option for jerry cans & spare tires.
* Long flat back fenders (for 2 wheels on one side)
* Winch package

So you need also a donor base truck, either the fire-truck or tow-truck:

* https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/tow-truck-take-apart

  • Winch: metal spring: outer diameter 10mm; length 16mm & 1x M3x16 bolt+nut.

Have fun printing & playing!

Could be nicely combined with goose neck trailer, making it a real combination:

3D printing settings

Since we create toys for children, I would like to suggest to print thick walls. So most part I printed:
* nozzle: 0.4
* layer height: 0.1 (more detail, but longer print time)
* number of walls: 3 (minimal)
* number of top/bottom layers: 8
* infill between 20 & 40.
* supports: yes, most parts require supports.
* part orientation: see picture of parts on build plate.

I'm more fan of metal screws (the layer bounding of metal is so much better), lights could be mounted:
* M3x5 screws (8x)
* and/or glue.
I would also suggest to add a M3x16 (max) screws into cabin rotations pins.
The bolts could optional be reinforced with M3x30 bolts and nuts.
