3D model description

These leading-edge slats are designed to reduce the landing speed and delay stall.
On the Horten wing "Stiletto" (designed by Raimund Sonst) the landing speed could be reduced from about 70 km/h to 35 km/h.
The example for this was the Me 163 B.
Uli, who in the meantime has also modified a second Stiletto, reports that the angle of attack in slow flight can be significantly increased without provoking one-sided or complete stalls.

More information about the aerodynamics and design of the slats can be found at http://www.rc-network.de/forum/showthread.php/698289-3D-gedruckte-Vorfl%C3%BCgel-f%C3%BCr-Horten-Stiletto

The short carbon tubes are supposed to be able to glue the mounts 2 and 3 exactly aligned to each other.
