Fruit picker

What could be more frustrating than seeing the tallest and reddest cherries inaccessible without taking the risk to climb the tree? Every year it's the same thing, so this time I'm taking the lead and making a cherry catcher.

I put you the 2 versions,

the first one, the rake is printed in one time but can be fragile according to your printing parameter (max 0,1 in layer height for the stronger side).

the second one is much more solid because the pimples will be printed separately on the length what will be unbreakable (my preference).

After using this cherry picker 2 years in a row, I guarantee you that it is very resistant because it has been abused several times.

it will take :

1 H-head screw, M8 x 50

1 washer Ø8

1 nut H, M8

1 pole or you can place a cane max diameter 30 mm, for my part it will be a bamboo cane and for fixing I take 2 plastic collars.

or 1 pole Tools Wolf

or 1 Gardena pole

STLs:

1 handle for rod Ø30 max

1 handle for Wolf tools adaptation

1 handle for Gardena adaptation

1 Complete rake

1 Rake version with spikes (recommended)

1 Picot

1 Clamping wheel

For the version with pins, you will need in addition:

11 flat head screws M3 x 8 (if not 8, from 5 to 10 max)

It will remain only to fix a net or plastic bag

7 STL files

For the sleeves :

• zig-zag supports

• density 15%.

For the knurl:

• contact with the bed on the small diameter side

• 20% filling

For rakes:

• 20% filling

For the spikes :

• print flat side

• height of the layer 0,1 preferably

For the 7 STLs in common:

• layer height 0.2 max for more strength

• width of the line 0.3

• number of wall line 4

• speed 50
