3D model description

Since the parts for the Syma X8 are plentiful as well as cheap, I decide to re-imagined the Syma X8 as a DJI Fire Wheel 450! While I do have this flying, it still is a bit of work in progress and this is remix of many parts which I have found on Thingiverse and I have tried to give them credit for their hard work and listing them in the remix!

Main Syma X8 Parts List:
Syma X8 Complete Motor Assembly: http://amzn.to/2mT0lVP
Syma X8 Prop Kit: http://amzn.to/2m7Yhtg
Syma X8 2000 mah batterys and charger: http://amzn.to/2mGCJHh
Syma X8 Hover Board Receiver: http://amzn.to/2m7RfEE
Syma X8 Transmitter (hover version): http://amzn.to/2msfBvz
Syma X8 screw set: http://amzn.to/2mGCMCU

Build Note: while the stock Syma X8 (motor) shaft housing can screwed to the 3D printed motor adapters with the self taping screws (from here: http://amzn.to/2mGCMCU). it is recommended to either use a #2 bolt & nut combo to positively attach the two or drill it out and use M3 bolt and nut combo (on the back center opening). It is also possible to epoxy the center shaft of the housing to the 3d printed housing for additional support as other wise there is the risk the Syma X8 shaft housings will separate from the 3D printed adapters in flight.

Note 03/12/2017 - Also see http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2140188 as I have added a newer (v2) motor mount.

General Note: Construction and use of this model is at your own risk with no warranties made or implied and always fly safe and never over people...
