3D model description

Indoor LED vegetable garden with water tank for continuous irrigation.

Perfect for growing aromatic kitchen herbs such as parsley, basil, thyme or even chili peppers, etc...

It creates the ideal growing conditions for each plant.

MATERIAL TO BUY:

Print each piece 1x except the pots which are to be printed 4x

PROCEDURE FOR ASSEMBLY :

  • Stack 2 squares of wadding and cut them so that they are ~35-40mm wide.

  • Roll it up and put it in the hole at the bottom of the pot. Part of the cotton wool should come out in the pot, this will allow water to rise through the cotton wool to moisten the soil.

  • Put your potting soil and seeds in each pot at your convenience.

  • Assemble the jars on the lid and lock them by making a quarter turn.

  • Assemble the 2 parts of the water level (preferably by gluing them together). Be careful, the line on the lower part of the float must be in the same direction as the 2 fins that serve as a guide in the upper part of the float.

  • Put the water level in the notch in the lid.

  • Assemble the weir on the lid. It should clip-on but do not hesitate to add glue.

  • Put the lid on the water tank

  • Assemble the foot and the led support together.

  • Pass the led ribbon through the hole provided for this purpose in the led holder.

  • Glue the led tape starting from the outer edge. The hollows at each corner of the support should allow you to bend the led ribbon in order to make it go back in the right direction-

  • Assemble the Led foot on the water tank.

  • Connect the LEDs and fill the tray via the overflow until the water level is flush with the edge of the lid.

The water level will drop quickly at first because the cotton wool needs to pump the water properly and moisten the soil.

There is a mark in the water level location to indicate when the water level is too low. The maximum water level is reached when the float is flush with the lid.
