Xiaomi Mijia 1080p Outdoor case

I designed an outdoor case for the super useful and cheap (compared to that scam called nest) Xiaomi Mijia 1080 basic IP camera. Now, instead of getting the more expensive Nest or Yi outdoor cameras, you can use this outdoor without fear of it getting destroyed.

Advantages of my design over others:

-The modular design makes it perfect for printing and assembly with just hot glue (which also acts a seal or gasket to prevent rain from entering).

-The back cover has several holes, at an angle to prevent rain from enter. These holes allow to better hear the speaker when using the 2 way communication function. (They also may or may not improve wifi range).

This was designed for the mijia 1080 Basic Version (white) in mind, since this camera is not detachable from the body like the regular mijia 1080 (black), but it fits both.

Initial release is already version 4. Several redesigns have been made before uploading. At least 8 cameras have been tested successfully.

Planned updates.
-Add a hole to allow resetting the camera without disassembling whole case.
-Mod the holes to be straight, for when the camera is used indoors.
-Include a mounting extension to allow the camera to be placed on a vertical wall.
-Design the case to be used with the camera not rotated.

Tips:

Make a good hot glue seal.
It's best if you print with black filament or if you paint it black, this way it wont bounce back the infrared lights in the dark.

The only parts that needs supports are the lens cover and the base ring.
