3D model description

1930 Ford A Model 5 Window Coupe Rat rod
Amazing Rat Rod Designed and built by the Legend Skoty Chops Totally Awesome .
I used his YouTube clip from 2007 link-https://youtu.be/DlQq-SpoO4w
Studying various photos on the internet, I reckon I have looked at about everyone of them, well worth it, research is the key to a good model, either CAD designed or hand built or scratch built.
Totally radical “from the 56 F100 Ford steering box to the 1970’s sprint car gas cap” ( quote).
I have tried to include all the features explained by Skoty Chops (Legend) and other features on his Rat Rod to the ability of FDM 3 D printing process. So parts are specifically designed for FDM 3d printing using ideally the Prusa i3 mk3 which has a build plate of 250mm by 250mm. The largest part is the sides of the coupe which are 210mm by 110mm for 1/10 scale and 175mm by 92mm for 1/12 scale. I have models in both scales.
There are two versions of the 1930 Ford A Model 5 Window Coupe Rat rod,
the early “ROAD ZOMBIES” version and the later refined version.
I have designed parts for both. I did utilize the parts for the 31’ series, though chopped the body.
Total of some 85 parts - numbered
Uses 2- 4 mm bolts for steering and 4 gauge countersunk head wood screws elsewhere, small 15mm brads clipped for door hinge centres and those small brass coated flat head nails clipped to fit the 5 link airbag suspension together, which is a tight fit. Small amounts of a suitable glue were also used , I heated staked some parts together and some parts used filament as location pins in some areas. And copper wire for the radical fuel lines, twisted around some dowel.

This Model took weeks to research and design and print and assemble. I am extremely happy to create this tribute to Skoty Chops.
Thankyou.

Added photo of prusa i3 mk3 Printed inlet added a modified inlet "crown" that will print easier. Added photo at 0.2 layer

supports where necessary
using the variable layer height to obtain smooth surface on the cab sides.
I would suggest sla printing for the smaller parts. including the inlet manifold ( the crown oil filler cap - though this part printed successfully with no supports 😊
