Screen enhancer - Workstation

This screen enhancer is suitable for users with a laptop connected to a screen via a docking station (Thinkpad / Dell / etc...) and who use a keyboard and mouse as on a real workstation.

It optimizes your working space by storing your computer - with the cover closed - under the tray.

Cantilevered supports are provided so that the computer can rest on them when it is slid, like a drawer, under the tabletop.

This saves space.

In addition, since the computer is in suspension, its ventilation is maximized and better computing performance is obtained.

When you want to leave your workstation, you simply have to unplug the cables connected to the docking station (Thunderbolt for example) then remove your computer and take it with you! Very practical when you go to a meeting for example.

This design is suitable for 300mm wide and 14mm thick trays. The length of the tray is to be adjusted according to the length of your computer. The rubber feet of the tray must be able to rest on the cantilevered supports.

This design has been adapted to be printed on a 220x220 tray.

So a split must have been necessary and that's why you find a "Part 1" file and a "Part 2" file.

These two parts will have to be assembled thanks to 3 small clips (dovetail keys) to be printed with the "Clips" file.

Given the symmetry of the final object, you will have to print twice the "Part N°1" file and twice the "Part N°2" file.

This will also lead you to print 2x3 = 6 "Clips".

I recommend a filling between 5-10%.

After you have finished and assembled your prints, you can fix the tray you have cut to your own dimensions by screwing it into the pre-drilled holes.
