3D model description

This is a replacement Front Roller for a Bosch PBS 75 A Belt Sander designed to replace a broken component on the original. It requires two Oilite Bushes 12x18x12mm (for example: Oil Impregnated Sintered Bronze Bushes AMC 121818 with 12mm ID, 18mm OD and 12mm length).

The picture shows the old part (broken) and the new part with the bushes pressed into place.

The part is designed to be easily printable without supports, and one side of the roller is completely flat to sit on the build plate. Note that the bush inserted on this flat side will stand a couple of mm proud of the printed part, whereas the bush at the other end will sit almost flush with the end.

Probably best printed in something tough and more heat resistant like ABS with lots of perimeters and/or solid infill. However, in my case I printed the first example in PLA to see how it fares.
