3D model description

In anticipation for the SM2 I decided to revise the initial part cooling fan with a much improved version, featuring:

-A way more powerful radial fan
-Convenient, integrated fixation solution
-And a 360deg airflow directed right at the part
-Retains easy access to the filament change button

Just remove the 2 rightmost motor cooling fan screws, install the part, and fit in any 5115 radial fan.

For powering of the fan I would recommend 2 options:

1: External, variable alimentation; the safest way to not short and fry anything
2: Pulling a line from the 24v motor cooling plug, through the left side of the module; Only if you know what you're doing.
I'd recommend installing a variable resistance to manually dial the power down during first layers since the board offers no part fan speed control

Once you've found the right power this mod dramatically improves the surface finish of your prints, especially on overhangs and bridges, along with making supports break out more easily

/!\ You can NOT keep the touchscreen in position during homing; it will CLASH with the fan. Either remove it or fix it somewhere else /!\

Hope you find it useful and don't hesitate reaching out if you have any idea you'd like help developping :)

2019-08-05: Rev.06, MAJOR UPDATE, redesign to clear the bed while homing
