UPDATE:

If you don't want to read any further, I suggest using v2 Flex Full Touch version with a line width of 0.4mm.

I've now added a version 2 of the clip that uses a slightly thicker face. This allows you to print it laying down on it's face like you'd expect with a <= 4mm nozzle and is much more efficient. Also, if you use Cura, turn on "Outer before Inner Walls" setting under Shell settings.

There is also a variation of version 2 that is more flexible. I was having trouble with v2 being too strong and so this solves that issue. On top of that, I then subtracted a part of the face so the magnets can touch. This DRASTICALLY increases the hold of the tiles together.

V1 is there if you prefer a thinner face in case you only use one per tile. I haven't tested the thicker version with just one per tile so I don't know if it's strong enough or not.

This is a remix of mtross's polarity independent magnetic clip. Shout out to them for making the original!

All I did was add a bottom to this so that you can easily put a 3mm magnetic sphere (buckyball) without it falling through the bottom.

These work great for OpenLock connections. I am planning on using these with triplex bases so that I can have at least two of these magnetic clips on either tile making the connection that much stronger.
