3D model description

I did not design this model, all credit for that goes to 3nikhey.

Addition: ZKayser did a nicer make than mine and remixed the power cell(found via their profile), have a look :)
https://www.thingiverse.com/make:939157

My first try at turning a game object into a 3d printable one, im not very experienced with 3d modeling so tolerances were pretty much zero to begin with. Ive printed it, sanded and modified to put it together and gone over to files to make some changes in the the right direction but havnt reprinted so there will still be some sanding needed to fit everything together, less than when i built mine tho.

This is a "remix" of https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36358 which is an amazing reimagining of the Glock 86 Plasma Pistol from the original Fallout game put into Fallout 4.

I love the look of this version of a Plasma pistol, the Fallout 3 version looks way too breakable and the default Fallout 4 version just looks off, way too boxy IMO.

The small changes ive done to the model has been to sharpened some details, added some other details and added functionality to the model to make it a better looking and more fun prop, the trigger moves and the gun has a working latching mechanism for the fusion cell.

The cell latch position lock is supposed to fit into the slot in the upper receiver and be locked into exact position by the axle for the cell latch arm.

If you want the fusion cell locked in place ive made an extra pin hole (the one closest to the cell) so that the latch can be immobilized in the closed position.

The cable from the cell front connector to the rear cable lug isnt in my edited model, just use a real bit of cabling, possible real cable lugs as well.

All alignment holes are sized at 1.8mm so if your printer leaves perfect holes normal 1.75mm filament should work, im personally using 1.5mm bailing wire for the pins and axles.

Ive included the original game version of the back wurky bitz so you can see how its supposed to look when its together, the SPLIT version is laid out in order.

I replaced the very low poly game model fusion cell with the one by thor4231, the slot on the gun was modded so it would be a perfect fit. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2418462

I modified and used the springs out of this battery box by radus for the trigger and the cell connector https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:374802
