3D model description

Hyper velocity pellet / lead free deep penetration diabolo.

Caliber .22" / 5,5mm

Be independent and manufacture your own hyper velocity pellets for your airgun! Simply click the standard .177” / 4,5 mm steel bb (actually .172” / 4,37 mm) into the 3D-printed skirts, no superglue needed, and gently peel of the brim from the assembly and you are good to go.

Carefully designed, developed and tested pellets. There is no contact between the steel bb and the barrel, only soft plastic (use regular PLA). The tiny ring at the base of the design will adapt and seal to the rifling of the barrel while the front ring surface go on top of the rifling. The hole for the bb has a locking effect, no super glue needed.

Do not use a silencer/moderator -avoiding internal impacts and damage.

Tips:
- If you have a dual extrusion 3D-printer – use a different color for the brim. When peeling of the brim its easy to detect remains.
- Barrels of different brands may vary in tolerances and depth of the rifling – if you have difficulties to insert the pellet into the barrel – try to scale the .STL-file down 2% to 98%, if it settles in too easily – scale the .STL-file up 2% to 102%.

Printersettings:
Use the finest settings when 3D-printing for maximum consistency and accuracy:
Layerheight: max 0,1 mm
Wall thickness: 0,4 mm
Printer speed: 45 mm/s
Supports: No
Brim: Yes
Infill: 20% - In contrary to a lead pellet which need a hollow skirt for aerodynamic stability and a displacement of the mass center towards the head and a tight fit in the rifling. Using a 20% infill in these light pellets will achieve the same results and displace the center of the mass towards the inserted bb.

Avaiable calibers:
- .22” / 5,5 mm
- .25” / 6,35 mm
- .30” / 7,62 mm
- Assembly of .22” / 5,5 mm, .25” / 6,35 mm, .30” / 7,62 mm
