3D model description

I introduce you My own design of Morgan-like trike. After finishing assembly, you should have nice three wheeler with flexible rear suspension.

After printing all the parts you will need some aditional stuff to finish model.
- 3mm screws to connect front wheels
- 3mm shafts to get rear axle turning and to mount rear wheel
- few pieces of 1.75mm filament for rear flexible suspension
- piece of cord and a spring (as flexible part of a construction)

  • 7.3.
    Just finished version1 of "Morgan"_like trike. Havent printed whole model yet, so its still "work in progress" project. Im sharing rendered pictures of the model and two pieces of chassis today.

  • 8.3.
    Printed few parts yesterday. Chassis came out without problem. Engine part looks beautifull too. Front suspension part is OK. Wheels are three-part design (because of rim design). It clicks together well, but you will need a little of force to get tires on rims. Or you can print tires in enlarged scale (guess 105 percent should be fine). I had problem with printing front fenders. Will try again with different printer setting, or upload redesigned part. Have fun, and comment If you like.
    Added few assembly plans and another stl parts

  • 10.3.
    Printed whole model, assembled and made few modifications.
    -Reconfigured chassis (more space for rear wheel)
    -Changed position of the seats (increased range of rear suspension movement)
    -Modified steering wheel (to make it easier to print)
    -Modified front fenders (to make it easier to print)
    -Included stl file of front bodykit grille
    -Made some changes to make assembly easier (front axle and bodykit positioning)

Added few pictures of finished and tuned v1.

Uploaded new stl files (modified parts are marked with "v2" sign), so you can print everything.

Why so many parts? Because of the details. There are parts that needs tiny details, so you should print them in 0.1mm step (motor, front suspension, cockpit, lights,...). Rest of the parts dont need to be so precise, so you can print them faster.
