3D model description

I wanted to attach my RODE PSA1 studio arm (microphone boom) to a USM table ( height of table and frame: almost 73mm ), but the provided desk clamp is just not wide enough.

This studio arm desk clamp plate / foot solves the problem by accepting the arm and offering space to use any clamp (in my case some tool f-clamp).

I attached it at the backside of a table and it works excellent so far. (I placed a piece of wood as distance holder for the clamp under the table.)

3D printing settings

I used (black) PETG for its mechanical strength. Layer height was 0.3 mm. I used 4 perimeter layers for increased stability, and also 50% infill with that nice star shape. This took around 14 hours.

The finished print is a massive piece of plastic (around 300g).

Addendum
If your slicer has this ability I'd suggest to place a small, coin-sized cylinder volume of 100% infill in the center of the large, flat part where the clamp is placed. As I was attaching the plate with my clamp, and was tightening, a slight, cracking noise was produced, so I knew I had to stop turning... :grimacing:
