3D model description

My wife wanted to clean-up the pantry so she wanted to buy a bunch of shelves to clean-up the pantry. So to save a couple bucks, I decided to create my own. This shelving unit was designed mainly to stack canned food of 540 ml which is a popular "big" size here in Canada. The height between every shelf is just over 12 cm high.

All the pieces are made to snap together. I numbered the pieces to make it super easy to build. You can see which number goes where on one of the images in the listing. Pieces fit in very snug so I didn't even need any glue.

3D printing settings

I divided the shelving unit into 8 easily printable files that lay flat on the print bed. The biggest part (the biggest shelf) takes about 12 hours to print at 0.20mm layer height. Except the little shelf on top, the other support parts take about 4 hours at same layer height.

Printed in PLA on ender 3
layer height: 0.20mm
Infill density: 20%
Support: Yes on Part 1 through 6, No for the 2 shelves.
Build Plate minimum dimensions: 220 x 220 mm
If you have an ender 3 or another printer with similar build plate dimensions, I recommend to not put any build plate adhesion like a skirt. Model takes most of the plate.
