3D model description

Crates of the Swiss RE 6/6 locomotive put into service on the St Gotthard line from 1975.

This is version 3 which corrects some inaccuracies of the previous version.

This body is designed to fit without modification on a second generation Re 6/6 Roco chassis (LED lighting). It will be equipped with all the accessories recovered from the original body (buffers, windows, handrails, insulators, roof line, pantographs, wipers, ...)

It allows to reproduce either the Re 6/6 11601 "Wolhusen" or the Re 6/6 11602 "Morges" indifferently:

  • with round headlights (period IV) painted in green livery (paints available at Modellbaustudio Born, or RAL 6009).

  • with rectangular headlights (period V) painted in red RAL 3020.

The markings and coats of arms are available by mail order from the online shop "modellbahndecals.de" at the following address:

The kit includes:

  • The bodies, square headlights and round headlights.

  • The two electric roof boxes

  • The roof ventilation louvers.

All other original parts (glazing, insulators, pantographs ...) fit on this box.

Given the fineness of the details, a resin print is essential with a large capacity printer under having to split the model.

If you are not able to print this model, I can do it for you, contact me.

I can also provide upon request:

  • Round headlight boxes adapted to the first generation of Roco chassis (lamp lighting).

  • 11601 or 11602 round or rectangular headlight boxes with integrated marking (crests and registrations)

This power supply is designed to be used with a Roco Re 6/6 Untergestell of the latest generation (LED display) without any upgrade.

The markings and drawings are available in the online shop "modellbahndecals.de" at the following address
