3D model description

Here is a project to levitate plants with an electromagnetic levitation system. It's plug and play :)

It is based on a long video making of I did, but unfortunately in French. You can at least watch it to see the result and some steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PReFCGeL9M8

You will find two groups of STL files: one is the nice vase+base and another one is a simple cap for the levitation device and associated magnet, to put any kind of models on top of it for levitation.
If you don't have a 3D printer yet, as you can see with the kind of grass plant, you can just deal with some existing vases and holder to create some cool stuff!

Keep in mind that the levitation is not that hard to handle, but not that easy. It is very important to consider the center of gravity aspect. Your center of gravity need to be centered with the magnet and as low as possible.

You will need some hardware that you can buy on Aliexpress, especially the levitation device (~$40). The led ring is optional and will require an additional power supply or a stronger power supply for the electromagnetic device+LED (2A is not enough).

✔️Hardware :
· Levitation device, for 500g, the same in the video: http://bit.ly/2OHXOjb
· You can find a similar one for 800-1000g, but which will not fit my 3D files: http://bit.ly/33kPsBu
· Take care about these levitation devices, they are unstable (at least for me) http://bit.ly/2M7IMkT
· In the video, I tried applying some light through induction. A failure: http://bit.ly/2lWUCT8
· Circular LED ring, diameter 100mm + driver 12V: http://bit.ly/2lXzhZN

✔️Printing advises :
· The vase doesn't need support/raft. Resolution and speed are up to you, depending on the quality you want to achieve. Same for infill.
· For the base, you will need supports under the location where you screw the electromagnetic device and also around the opening for the cables. See the photos with the arrows.
· These models are for both SLA and FDM, however, you will need a large SLA printer.
