3D model description

I was inspired to make this cuckoo clock, by that mad genius maker and youtuber, Ivan Miranda.

I used his logo as the design, and he was so blown away by what I'd produced, he gave me his blessing to sell the design :)

The clock is completely printed with the exception of a Quartz timepiece, stepper motor (for the door action), a speaker for the sound, an ESP32 to control it all, and 2 googly eyes πŸ‘€πŸ˜‚

All instructions, code, and sounds are included, and even the Fusion 360 source file, so you can create your own designs!

There's a long story behind it, and feel free to reach out if you want to know more.

If you wish to see what it looks like in action, please check this link: https://youtu.be/R56V6p9g6-Y

While this model is marked as personal use only, I am open to commercial use, but if you do wish to produce and sell it commercially, please contact me and we can work something out.

============================================================

Note: This item includes all STL files needed to print the clock, arduino code files, and Fusion 360 file, but you will also need the following:

(You should be able to obtain these parts for $5-10)

ESP32 - (you can possibly use other Arduino devices (like ESP8266 etc.), but you may need extra components for sound, and may have to alter the code a little)

Speaker - a simple 40mm or so speaker will work. Amplified speaker will produce better sound)

SG90 Servo - Used to move the "cuckoo"

Quartz Clock movement - Simple AA battery powered Quartz clock movement unit you can buy from places like AliExpress for about $2.

2x googly eyes (they are modelled, but will likely be unprintable, so purchasing real ones would likely be best.

============================================================

NB: The clock hands and cuckoo action are not linked. The clock hands will need to be set manually to match the correct time of day. The code that runs on the ESP will connect to wifi, obtain the correct time based on the timezone you specify, and then disconnect to save battery.

Please see the included documents for further information.

If you find any issues, something I haven't documented, or just have any questions, please contact me, and I will do my best to assist ASAP :)
