SVT 40(Самозарядная винтовка Токарева 40) is Soviet Semi-Automatic Rifle.Fedor Tokarev designed basics of this Rifle at in the early 1930s.F.Tokarev's design accepted for production at 1938 and the first model produced was Svt 38.In 1939-1940 Svt 38 used in Winter War with Finland.
The Svt 38 design improved at 1940 because of the reactions of Soviet troops which fought at Winter War.The rifle named Svt 40 and produced till 1948 for Army and produced till 1990s for Civilians for hunting rifle.It used in Winter War-WW2-Continuation War-Korean War.It Used By Crotia-Czechoslovakia-Estonia-Finland(captured)-German Democratic R.-Georgia-Lithuania-Nazi Germany(captured)-North Korea-Hungary-Poland-Romania-USSR-Switzerland-Ukraine-Vietnam
