3D model description

Dassault Super Mystere B2 / IAI Sa'ar

Developed from the Dassault Mystere IV , is the first european supersonic fighter (in level flight) and first equipped with afterburner.
Other than Armee de l'Air, where it served from 1958 to 1977, it has been used by IAF during the Six-Days War.
In In order to change the original Atar engine with a not-french one , IAI modified in 1967 the Sambad adding a Pratt & Whitney J52-P-8A , the same of the A-4H Skyhawk; the new engine was lighter and more powerfull also without afterburner.
The improvement made possible to add 2 new load point at the root of the wings increasing the total payload; also the combat radius was increased.
The main difference is the enlonged exaust pipe that should decrease the visibility of the engine to Infrared missiles.
The new aircraft , called Sa'ar (Storm) was no more a fighter but an attacker and served with the IAF from 1969 to 1975 heavily used during the Yom Kippur War.
Last user of the Sa'ars radiated from IAF is Honduras that buyed 12 aircraft in 1976; these Sa'ars fought on border war against Nicaragua till 1996.

Models 1:100 scale printed at 1:285 with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12 mm layers.

Printed with a Ender3 as shown in the image taken from PrusaSlicer 2.0.
