3D model description

"Less is more" -Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe

Building off the easily adaptable design of the RC Street Racing Car V2 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3685946), we are proud to bring you a modular FPV package aimed to redefine the sport RC track racing. Our modular FPV system has the following advantages:

1) Experience the thrill of first person, real time RC car racing
2) Record 1080p 60fps HD video directly to an on board SD card
3) Time your laps using any standard FPV timing system such as the LapRF timing puck
4) In keeping with our original concept of "less is more," the modular FPV package only adds one major additional part.
5) Modular design allows 10 second installation or removal with no additional modifications

Parts number of each individual part needed in () when important
-Runcam split 3 nano (or any other nano sized camera or split camera) (1)
-Eachine 25-400mw nano video transmitter (VTX) (1)
-15x15x4mm micro fan (1)
-Mini buck converter (voltage step down) (1)
-UHS III 64gb micro SD card (1)
-XT30 connector pair (1)
-22awg silicone wire
-3M VHB double sided adhesive tape
-M2x6 bolt (2)
-M2x16 bolt (4)
-M3x8 bolt (3)
-M3x4 knurled insert nut (2)
-Mini cable tie (1)
-Fatshark Recon FPV goggles (1)

Printed Parts Number of each part needed in () If material or print settings aren't mentioned, use your default settings.

FPV cover (1) The cover keeps your electronics in and the dust out! Print, cut, or mill in any material 1/16" in thickness. The cover secures to the front cover finger with a single M3x8 bolt. Unlike the stock cover design in the original listing for the RC Street Racing Car V2, the FPV cover has some additional holes for mounting.

Camera mount (1) This single 3D printed piece not only serves to mount and protect your nano camera at a variety of different angles, but also holds your micro fan in place to cool the split DVR board and VTX. The simple "sliced cylinder" shape of the camera mount ensures that the camera lens is protected from direct impact at all angles and in the event of a roll.

M2 spacer (4) These short M2x3 spacers will simply separate your split camera board from the cover to allow airflow from the micro fan. If you aren't using a split camera, these aren't necessary.

Rear cover finger (1) The rear cover finger holds the back of your cover in place. This part is identical to the rear cover finger in the RC Street Racing Car V2 post.
