3D model description

The new tow truck has some additional features:
* Compatible with our other Battat bolts & tools
* Compatible with LEGO Duplo minifigs
* Compatible with Playmobil minifigs
* Different wheel sets available (normal & monster truck version)
* Optional engine
* Optional 4 seats cabin, incl. extra seats
* Included a pulley set on end of beam.
* Magnetic cabin locking.
* Temporary added an experimental winch solution..

You also need:
* bolts and tools (included)
* 2x M5x40 bolt & nut (connect to base part)
* 4x M3x30+nut: adding pulley system.
* the boom is aluminium rectangular tube (25x25x215mm) or 1"x1" bar. See bw-drawing for hole positions.

Have fun printing & playing!

Extra's:
* R2.09: Cabin & motor compartment now have holes inside the parts, for adding small magnets. This will lock the cabin better. Maximum diameter of magnet: 6 mm and maximum height 3 mm.
* Tow Truck Parts R2.02: update some extra's
* Enable customized license plates! OpenSCAD script is included.
* Added a 2 segment wheel. Now you could have a hard rim, for low friction wheel spin and having a soft tire (printed with 70shore TPU), which results in great driving performance.
* Print-ability: maximum part length on build plate: <155 mm (~6").
* Optional 4 seats cabin: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/base-truck-take-apart

3D printing settings

Since we create toys for children, I would like to suggest to print thick walls. So most part I printed:
* nozzle: 0.4
* layer height: 0.1 (more detail, but longer print time)
* number of walls: 3 (minimal)
* number of top/bottom layers: 8
* infill between 20 & 40.
* supports: yes, most parts require supports.
* part orientation: see picture.

I'm more fan of metal screws (the layer bounding of metal is so much better), all lights could be mounted:
* M3x5 screws (8x)
* and/or glue.
I would also suggest to add a M3x16 (max) screws into cabin rotations pins.
The bolts could optional be reinforced with M3x30 bolts and nuts.
