I share with you my design to adapt L39 and m39 mount lenses (Leica, FED, Zorki, Kiev...) to Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras (NEX) like a7 a7ii a7iii a7R a7S a5000 a6000 a6400 NEX5...

The design has been perfectly matched and tested with an Industar 69 lens, finding that it focuses correctly from 0.8m from the lens to infinity. This lens does vignetting by its own construction (not a problem of the adapter) so it is recommended to use it in APSC mode to avoid dark corners.

In this ad you can see some test images taken with a Sony A7II in APSC mode.

It is designed based on the width of the thread but without it, so the lens is attached by applying a little pressure and will stay attached until you want to remove it.

I have added another version with thread, to print it correctly you need a layer height of 0.1mm or less. So you can print the one you prefer!

3D printing settings

For printing I used black PLA at 20% fill with 0.4mm nozzle. You can print this design as accurately as your printer has.

If you print the threaded version a layer height of 0.1mm or less is required.
