I share with you my design to adapt Oplarex lenses from FOCA cameras to Sony cameras without E-mount mirror (NEX) as a7 a7ii a7iii a7R a7S a5000 a6000 a6400 NEX5...

The design has been perfectly adapted and tested with an Oplarex 5cm 1.9 lens, checking that it focuses correctly from the minimum focusing distance of the lens to infinity.

It has been designed based on the width of the FOCA thread but without it, so that the lens is coupled by applying a little pressure and will remain fixed until you want to remove it.

The adapter consists of 2 parts that make up a helicoid to focus the lens.

In this ad you can see some test images taken with a Sony A7II full frame.

3D printing settings

For printing I used 20% black PLA filling with 0.4mm nozzle. With a layer height of 0.2mm the result is perfect. You can print this design as accurately as your printer has.
