3D model description

Geralt's Silver sword from the Witcher 3 video game (and maybe future seasons of the Netflix series?). This is a full length, double handed (Zweihänder) sword I created for Cosplay and to make a badass wall decoration. At full scale the blade measures 1000mm and the hilt/pommel ~270mm.

The model files are complete, and I've printed it all, fitted it together, sanded and primed it but I'm still calling it a WIP as I haven't gotten around to painting it all yet. Everything fits together pretty seamlessly with little to no work

There are a few configurations you can download for printing:
- The full sword in a single print. Not really recommended unless you are printing a mini version
- The full blade (1000mm) and then the hilt/pommel in parts (you'd have to have a huge printer for this)
- The blade in 5 pieces (approx. 200mm sections each) and then the hilt/pommel in parts
- The blade in 9 pieces (approx. 200mm sections each) and then the hilt/pommel in parts

I printed the blade in 9 parts as my printer likes to knock tall thin objects over

The blade/hilt has dual 6.2mm round channels up the entire length to suit a 6mm dowel or threaded rod (2x1030mm) to add some strength and weight to the sword
The grip/pommel also has a single round 6.2mm channel for another piece of dowel or threaded rod (80mm)
Each of the blade pieces also has a registration mark on the top/bottom to ease fitting the parts together correctly

If you make one of my designs, I'd love to see it! Please DM or Tag me on Instagram (@asgardian_armoury) or Reddit (u/Asgardian_Armoury)

3D printing settings

I printed this all on my Tevo Tornado using Pantech PLA filament (went with a carrot theme for the print because what is life without whimsey?)

You may find things easier by printing a few of the blade sections next to each other sharing the same base of support or raft as a single blade profile can be knocked over easily
