3D model description

Douglas B-66B/RB-66B/EB-66E Destroyer

The B-66 was developed for the USAF from the Douglas A-3 Skywarrior in order to not start a new project from scratch but the Air Force requirements was so specific that at the end the B-66 did share only few parts with the original A-3.
The Destroyer has never be used as bomber in war operations but the all-weather photo-reconnaissance variant RB-66 and the electronic reconnaissance and countermeasures variant EB-66 have been used during Vietnam war.
The two models represents two of the most used variants: the RB-66B (exteriorly very similar to the bomber B-66B) and the EB-66E.

Models 1:100 scale printed at 1:285 with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12 mm layers.
Printed with a Ender3 as shown in the image taken from PrusaSlicer 2.0.
I opted for the two parts splitted version in order to reduce the needs of supports; use a bit of sandpaper and at the end the glued junction is not so noticeable and once painted almost invisible.
