3D model description

This a 3D scan of a bust of Napoleon from the Usher Gallery and The Collection in Lincoln in the UK.

The marble bust was made in the 18th Century by Antoine Denis Chaudet and 3D scanned by Oliver Laric in 2013.

I decided to make the scan hollow and cut it in 2 pieces to save material and time. I filled the printed halves with plaster (gypsum) to add weight. After priming and painting it black I used a wax to make it look like antique gold.

The original file and info can be found here:

3D printing settings

In the files you can find the original solid STL (NapoleonBustSolid.stl) that I have scaled up and touched up a bit. I cut it in two and made it hollow, these are the two other files.
