3D model description

WARNING I will no longer be updating existing models or uploading new ones to Cults3D. Please see my profile on Printables.com: https://www.printables.com/social/67221-jepod/models

I got tired of using dice for wounds and such when playing Warhammer 40K and other table top war games. I didn't really want to spend $5+ per dial from various websites and I didn't love most of the designs here on Thingiverse so I got creative and made my own.

These are meant to be single or double digit counters and can be used for anything your heart desires. I wanted to keep the font size a bit bigger so I didn't make a double digit single dial version; each dial only counts 0-9.

These are all designed to use a 10 mm by 1 mm thick magnet in both the top and bottom. This helps keep them together while giving enough friction to have them not turn on their own.

You will need to print 1 number dial for the single digit tops, 2 dials for each double digit top, and 3 dials for each triple counter top (hopefully that much is obvious...). I am including 4 different number dials, with the numbers facing different ways. Be sure to print the correct facing numbers for what you want.

You can see more images of printed items and the designs on my wargaming blog

I have personally taken the blank tops and added designs for my armies in Warhammer 40K. It works really well but as Games Workshop owns most of the logos/icons I've used, and I don't feel the need to be sued, I won't post any of their copyrighted material on here.

10/17/18 - Added notched number dials, triple counter, and STEP file containing the basic shapes in a more editor friendly format

10/30/18 - Removed the notched number dials and added a 1-7 dial (for 40K turns). Also changed the back side of the tops and the magnet area on the numbered dials so they are simple yet keep them together while you're turning them. Both pieces are now 1 mm taller each. I also increased the sizes of the wholes to accommodate slightly larger magnets than 10 mm in diameter.
