3D model description

Clipping an anti-static wristband to the workpiece can be troublesome... the clip shifts, it catches your sleeve, it pops off when you stretch the wire, etc. So I designed this mount for an ESD wristband you can clamp anywhere on your bench. It improves workflow by providing a consistent home for your ESD band regardless of the different type of equipment you may be working on, and reliably holds the clip in place during normal use.

The alligator clip attaches to the mount, so you'll need to connect it to a suitable grounding point.

Two designs are provided: one is a plain clamp with an alligator clip mount, the other includes a holder for an inline IEC-320-C13 standard socket that connects to a standard line cord that you then plug into a grounded outlet as the grounding point.
