I needed a heavy-duty filament spool holder to hold 5kg rolls of filament. I purchased the Texas Size spools from Zyltech here: http://www.zyltech.com/zyltech-filament/5kg-filament-spools/ but I needed a better way to have them spool through the extruder. I designed this around these bearings: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BN3X9BY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which I already had around. You will also need a 12inch x 3/4inch threaded rod, two 3/4inch washers, and four 3/4inch nuts. You will need to print (2) of the Brackets, I created two designs, one which is more compact and will work on many machines and the second one is a bit more robust and just looks cool! I only printed the compact design as of this write-up. You will also need to print (2) bushings and (2) Bearing Holders.

The bearings should just fit in the bearing holders and then insert the bushing. Slide Bearing Holder, the bearing and bushing onto the threaded rod followed by a washer and nut. Do this on both sides and try to center everything and then hand-tighten. Place on brackets and hand-tighten nuts against the outside of the bracket.

I printed everything with 30% infill and it all seems strong enough.
