Drilling jig Aluminium profile 20

It is difficult to work with aluminium profiles and especially to drill to be able to assemble elements or simply the profiles between them with precision. I propose a set of tested and functional templates. You will just have to print the templates you want and assemble either a M3 nut or a M5 nut. The holes made will be adapted to be able to tap in M3 or M5 (Ø2,5 for M3 and Ø4,2 for M5) because it is the nuts which will guide the drill and their Ø are already adapted. With this set, you could work the 20x20, 20x40 and 20x60 aluminium profiles, the list is the following:

• 20x20 1xM5 center

• 20x20 2xM3 eccentric 6mm Center distance 25,2mm

• 20x40 1xM5 center

• 20x40 2xM3 centre 25.2mm centres

• 20x40 2xM5 centre distance 20mm

• 20x60 2xM3 centre distance 20mm centre distance 25,2mm

• 20x60 3xM5 centre distance 20mm

• Handle clamp M5

For the clamping handle, I advise you if possible to tap only with an M5 tap on the jigs before inserting the M5 CHC screw, otherwise choose self-tapping screws. Insert the M5 CHC screw into the handle with force (preferably with a vice).
