3D model description

My geared deck boxes are a great way to store cards, but are a bit lacking when it comes to dice and counter storage.

This design provides a compartment for dice storage, as well as an expanding dice tower. Not only that, but there's a pair of rotating life counters at the top of the tower. The box latches closed, and the fence is secured to the front of the box magnetically.

This listing is for the print files only. You'll also need four 10mmØ x 3mm magnets for the latch and the fence, a pair of 12mm, 6 gauge screws for the counters, and a pair of 12mm M3 screws (non-stainless) for the fence.

• Features
Open the box and the dice tower rises up.
There's a special storage for the fence so that it won't get mixed up with the stored dice.
The box locks closed with a magnetic latch. There is also a detent mechanism to lock it in the open position.

• Printing details.
0.2mm thick layers or less.
Print cooling on
You must have an accurate printer. This is a simple print, but does require high accuracy.
The cart requires support.

• To assemble:
Magnets go into the slots of the lids, and the slots within the base.
Place the lids in their open position.
Align the lowest gear tooth with the bottom gear teeth of the cart
Place the entire lid and cart combo into the main shell. It should click into place (and that's why having an accurate printer is a requirement).

3D printing settings

Support from the build plate needed for the 'cart'
Print at 0.2 or thinner layers for nice texture resolution
