3D model description

This is only for the files! Not a print of the actual sword!!

The files here will be for the 55 inch version.

If you'd like the smaller version, at 41inches, send me a message and I can provide that one instead. The images of the actual print are for this version as I'd already kicked off a print of this one before I'd realized that it was too small for an adult.

Yuno did not want to be the odd man out and not have an awesome sword himself. But he did not want to sully himself with any run of the mill sword. No mere metal anything would work! So he fashioned himself a sword made of condensed mana that can not only slice and dice but BLEND all in one go!

This didn't happen until late in the series so there's not been too much exposure but it was too awesome a design to not recreate! However, due to distinct lack of available mana, we must do with plain ol' plastic. This causes us mere mortals to not be able to have the ring that floats around as part of the handguard. While a ring is included with the model, I don't have a way to mount it...
...Might be easier to use pipe cleaners instead maybe? I don't know yet. If I come up with something I'll update on here. Or if YOU come up with something awesome? Let me know!

If you're looking for this, you know what you're getting into. 'nuff said.

For those that don't, Yuno is the main character's "rival" from the Black Clover anime series based in a world that is infused with magic. Yuno is chosen by the four leaf grimoire and is in pursuit to be the next Magic Emperor and considered to be the most likely one to ascend to this position. His competition with Asta for said title forces both to continuously grow to the amazement of all.

There are two versions of the sword. I initially designed it to fit around a 3ft threaded rod (like all my swords) but noticed that it's not, proportional. It's a great design for younger (or shorter) individuals. The second I did to fit around a 4ft 5/16" wooden dowel. This should provide enough rigidity to be able swing the blade around.

The 3ft version was designed to fit around hardware that I purchased from my local "Orange Box" hardware store. I use 1/4"x20 coupling nuts along with a 3 foot 1/4"x20 threaded rod to hold all the pieces together. In between each of the sword segments (a total of 3), there's one of the coupling nuts with a pair of 5/16" tube pieces to keep the sword from rotating out of alignment. I used tubes instead of rods because they're lighter but either rod or tube can be used.

The blade itself is in 4 segments of 160-ish mm per segment so that the print time isn't dreadfully long. Except for the bottom portion of the blade as it also includes the "wings." There is a cover piece that goes in the hole between the piece where the blade splits to cover the threaded rod/dowel.

The 4ft version was designed to fit around 5/16" dowels both for the main support and the alignment slots. I'm not sure if there are 4ft long dowels so it may require two to be glued together in some fashion. I was thinking have one that terminated midway up the 2nd to the last sword segment and add the second there.

These are designed to be printed on a CR-10 with the larger print bed. At 100%, the sword is just over 55" long and 13.6" wide at the wings! This segment fits diagonally centered on the CR10 bed!
I recommend printing with at least 3 walls at 10% Gyroid infill. I tried 25% initially but that was too heavy per segment. At 10% Gyroid it's sturdy enough to swing around and lightly whack stuff (not children!) without it falling apart on me.
