3D model description

Inspired by the proportions of the Pyramid of Cheops, an emblematic monument to the ancient architecture of the Egyptians, who worshipped cats, this cat house has been designed by designers to provide your pet with its own cosy nest, giving it comfort and security during the long hours of rest it needs.

The primary aim of this kennel is to become a real decorative element for your home that will meet your pet's needs.

To print this cat house to scale 1 in one go, you can use a 400 x 400 x 400 mm high-volume printer.

If you don't have a large-format printer, you can also print it in several parts using a 200 x 200 x 200 mm printer, and assemble them using connectors and glue.

At scale 1, the dimensions are suitable for a small cat. If your cat is bigger, you can of course increase the scale.

We get a good impression with these settings:

-0.4 mm nozzle,

-layer height 0.2 mm,

-wall thickness 0.8 mm,

-top/bottom thickness 0.8 mm,

-filling density 6%,

-no support.

To improve the finish, I suggest aligning the Z seam on one edge.

For best rendering and very good assembly accuracy, we recommend printing the parts in the same position as on the STL file supplied with a raft.

For multi-part printing, depending on the size of your printer, you'll probably need to rotate the part around the Z axis so that it fits entirely on the platen.
