3D model description

Some time ago I found an awesome wooden dog LED lamp by "Well Done Tips" on intructables.com. I built this lamp for my grandson and I thought about designing this lamp in a smaller version for 3D printing. The dimensions of the original wooden version (I gave him the name: Woody) are about 530x450mm, those of the 3D version about 320x290mm. I have reduced the original by about 40%. Based on the filament material I use here, I call him PLAzzy (PolyLactic Acid).

I have tried to capture the working steps and the assembly in photosl

For this project you will need:

2x... Ø 4x55mm from a threaded rod (or screw Ø m4 x 60 and saw of the screw head)
2x... Ø m4x20mm (for the ears)
2x... Ø m3x16mm + plus 2 matching washers (to connect head, neck and light base)
6x... wing nuts Ø 4 mm
16x...washers Ø 15x4,5mm
1x... 64x64x3mm white acrylic glass, 70% translucency (or transparent acrylic glass or twin wall-sheet)
4x... self-tapping screws 2,2x 2,9 mm

AC/DC Socket 5,5/2,5 mm
4G bulb socket
4G bulb 2,5W/250Lm
AC 125 V 6A ON-ON 3 Pins 2 Position Mini Toggle Switch
12 V AC/DC power adapter

Solder
Soldering Iron

IMPORTANT: I do not recommend installing higher wattage bulbs in this lamp, as the heat development could be too great.

The files must be printed in the following number of copies:
