3D model description

This is a further development of the bedside lamp with the box shape (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/bedside-lamp-box-led-12v-2-5w). Now this lamp had become a tube shape and you can print the backside as switch or dimmer version. Whereby I have to say that my dimmable version dims only partially. But at least two brightness levels are available.

I have tried to capture the working steps and the assembly in photos. The assembly is in most parts identical with "Bedside Lamp (Box)". A look at the photo gallery there might help additionally.

For this project you will need:

1x … Ø 65mmwhite polycarbonate glass 3mm thick, 70% translucency
1x … Ø 4x55mm from a threaded rod (or screw Ø m4 x 60 and saw of the screw head)
1x … Ø 4x45mm from a threaded rod (or screw Ø m4 x 50 and saw of the screw head)
2x … Ø M3x20mm + plus 2 matching washers (to connect head, neck and light base)
4x … wing nuts Ø 4mm
10x … washers Ø 15x4,5mm
5x … self-tapping screws Ø 2,2 x9,5mm
(4x … self-adhesive rubber pads Ø 8x1,6mm)

AC/DC Socket 5,5/2,5 mm
4G bulb socket
2 Position Mini Toggle Switch
4G bulb 2,5W/250Lm (IMPORTANT!: I do not advise the installation of a higher wattage bulb, because of too much heat development!)

After completion of the assembly I recommend - to improve the slip resistance - to attach small self-adhesive rubber pads to the bottom of the lamp feet (4x rubber pads Ø 8x1,6mm).
