3D model description

A new member to the family of RC cars that are fully 3D printable ! I was always a huge fan of RC stock cars that exist since the early eighties and are still popular today.

STOKAR is easy to print in PLA with only the known parts to be bought to complete the car to make it drivable. This project has parts that are based on the openRC project.

Obviously this is a car that is made to drive on flat surfaces since there is no suspension. To make the car steer well I gave the front axle a good amount of caster. This really makes a huge difference with a lot less understeer.

Glue the body together. Only 1 front body clip needed. Put a screw through the rear body mount so the hole in the rear can grab it.

Parts needed;

M3x10 button socket head screw (all screws, one size)
M3x4 socket set screw (for the pinion)
2 pair Tamiya 55D or 60D m-chassis tires
4 pieces 12x18x4mm bearings as used in the openRC project
4 pieces 8x12x3.5mm bearing as used in the openRC project
540 size 80T or 55T motor
Servo MG90S
Servo rod
4 pieces M3 rod end
M3 rod
Brushed ESC
Transmitter and receiver kit
1 body clip
