Organizers for Mage Knight board game: The full set.
The full Mage Knight set contains:
01. 7 hero organizers.
02. 6 card trays.
03. Enemy token stand.
04. Crystal organizer.
05. Map tile stand.
06. Statuettes organizer.
07. Tezla organizer.
01 HERO ORGANIZERS: The hero organizer consists of 3 parts: main container [01.1], insert [01.2] and lid [01.3]. The main container and the insert are the same for all heroes, so 7 identical main containers and inserts must be printed. The lid is decorated with hero relief. There are 7 heroes in the game and there are 7 different lids dedicated for each one of them. Reliefs are based on appearance of the heroes and their weapons: Arythea, Braevalar, Goldyx, Krang, Norovas, Tovak and Wolfhawk.
The main container has 2 chambers: one for shield tokens and the other for a pile of skill tokens. The chamber for shield tokens has rounded bottom, so it's easy to draw tokens. The hero card [in a sleeve] is slid and hold on the bottom of the main container. On top of it the small insert is placed. It organizes command tokens in pile and mana tokens (added during the game [max 3 in each color are permitted]. The lid has a slot for hero basic action cards [in sleeves].
02 CARD TRAYS: 6 different trays are dedicated for 6 types of tiles: advanced actions, spells, artifacts, units, wounds and other cards (tactics, help, etc.). Trays are designed for tiles of cards in sleeves - each one has enough space for each kind of tile. All trays has a slopping bottom, so it's easy to draw cards and they don't fall out. I have designed different theme relief for each type of tile, so they are easy recognizable. On the back there's the same theme relief in each tray.
To prevent cards of falling out in the game box, additionally a rubber band can be used. There are small cuts in supports of the tray, where the rubber band can be inserted - as shown on one photo.
03 ENEMY TOKEN STAND is designed to accommodate and organize all types of enemies, ruins and also faction tokens. 12 tiles of round enemy tokens can be placed there. All pillars have the same height, so you can organize tiles the way you want. Green, tan and red tiles can be divided in 3 decks - for scenarios where Elementalists Faction and Dark Crusaders must be separated. Hexagonal ruin tokens have their own place, next to 2 square faction token tiles. Bottom for each deck is slanted for easy draw. Pillars separate tiles well, still there's a enough space between them to get the last token.
04 CRYSTAL ORGANIZER: There are 2 types of crystal organizers. You can choose which one you prefer. The Crystal1 contains all crystal and mana dice. Its length is related to Day/Night board, so it can be placed near. The Crystal2 provides 2 crystal organizers for 2 sides of the table, so all players can easily reach for them.
05 MAP TILE STAND accommodates all map tiles. 2 pillars thoroughly designed provide stable deck that can be easily grabbed and moved. On the bottom there's a theme relief related to the gate in the starting tile. Tezla organizer (07) is adjusted to the Map tile stand.
06 STATUETTES ORGANIZER accommodates all hero miniatures, cities and Volkare. Each hero figurine and each city has a separate pocket. Volkar is much taller, so he lay down in his own section. This container length and width are the same like of the enemy token stand, so they can be placed one on another in the game box.
In the new edition of Mage Knight bigger miniatures are present. I have adjusted the container to their sizes with Nazaroth help (thank you for the time spend on the measurements!) (If you have an edition bought before 2022, MK.OldStatuettes.stl should fit right).
07 TEZLA ORGANIZER accommodates different components from Shades of Tezla: 2 Faction tiles, Volcare tile, Hidden Valley Location tile, Graveyard tile and Necropolis Location tiles. It correspond with the Map tile stand, so they can be placed one on another.
If you own Mage Knight Ultimate edition, choose TezlaNew.zip. If you bought expansion separately, choose TezlaOld.zip. Faction tiles from Big Box edition are bigger than these from separate Shades of Tezla expansion. So I have designed 2 different sets of Map Tile stand and Tezla organizer. Please, check photos and choose proper .stl files for your edition.
TezlaNew: New Tezla organizer serves as a coaster for the New Map tile stand. This stand is shorter than the Old one.
TezlaOld: Old Tezla organizer is an insert for the Old Map tile stand. This stand is higher than the New one, because the insert goes on top of the map tile deck.
All organizers fit the game box and provide quick game setup. However it's not an insert.
