We can all use storage boxes. The JWizard Storage Box has been created using JWizard’s custom stencils and hinges. Our storage box comes in 3 different pre-made sizes and has a decorative circle stencil pattern that continues all around the perimeter of the box. The box contains working hinges that allow you to open and close the box. Create the box that you need in the size and color that you want!

Idea’s:

After each box has been printed, carefully open the box. Since there are supports under the hinges, it will take a little more effort to initially open the box. Take your time here so you don’t break the box upon initially opening it. Also there may be excess filament around the hinges that can be removed. Also if there are any hanging strings, they can be removed as well. If the strings are secure you can leave them undisturbed.

You may be tempted to even create smaller boxes with this design. We actually tried to create a box 25% of the original size and it was fused together and unusable. It is possible to make the box a little smaller than 50% of the original size. It is unclear how small you can make it where you see the design clearly and the box opens correctly. This would require experimentation.

If you modify the x,y,z axes disproportionally, the circular design may change to an ovular design on portions of the box.

If you enjoy painting, you can paint the circles on the box one or more colors.

Slicing Instructions:
1. Import the .STL into your slicing program.

1. Supports will be created around the top opening and possibly around the perimeter over the decorative design. The entire interior of the box should not be filled in.

Print each of the boxes separately.
