3D model description

This is a 1/72 scale model of a fictional AFV. The print area is 14x10cm or about 5 1/2"x4", so it should fit in most desktop printers. I kept the overall surface detail light as well as recessed to allow for easy printing and finishing. The model clips together, no glue required; however, the wheels could benefit from a little adhesive for extra security. The clips holding the hull sections together and the clips securing the turret fit quite tightly; some filing may be needed. The moving parts, axles, and turret may need to be filed or sanded to move more freely. Traditional model kit parts can be added to increase the level of detail, but even the basic print makes a great little model/toy. Not suitable for children under 3.

3D printing settings

When printing this model I used a raft and supports. The top half of the hull will require it. The axles and gun will benefit from a raft.

Place the turret cylinder through the circular hole in the upper hull section.

Attach the turret to the turret cylinder, using clips to secure.

Select either the gun or the gun mount provided in the print; secure your selected mount to the turret using the clipping mechanism.

Secure the upper hull section to the lower hull section by pressing together tightly to clip.

Place axles through provided holes on the lower hull section, place a tire on each end of the three axles. (Some glue may be required to ensure a secure fit)
