3D model description

This is another spool holder for the Sainsmart Coreception 300 / Creativity 3D Elf printer. It uses a bayonet style locking spindle modeled after the Creality bayhonet style spindle found on the Ender 3/5 series printers. There are 2 different size spindles and hubs for 1 Kg and 2.5 Kg spools.

This spool holder will most likely work with other cube style printers using a 2020 v-slot aluminum extrusion frame.

You will need 2 17 x 26 x 5 mm bearings for the centering hub to ride on the shaft.
You will also need 8 M5 x 10 button head screws and 8 M5 T-nuts

3D printing settings

Print the shafts with supports everywhere laying horizontally on the bed for the most strength. You CAN print them standing up on the large end but you stand the chance of breaking the "flex" fingers on the end of the shaft.
.
Print the centering hubs with supports everywhere standing on the large end. You will NOT be able to get the support material out of the inside of the hub. (Don't even try).
